Marsh System has been involved with both the service of the installed Trend environmental controls and the support of the large fibre optic and conventional network systems across this multi-acre Weybridge site. We have also been tasked with supplying many unique solutions to some of the more complex problems that have occurred over the many years of our association with the VLA. Typically these were the conversion of a very complex PLC based Bovine TB inoculation process plant to Trend BMS control, which was carried out some five years ago and although there has been many hours of

production, the control system has continued to operate efficiently and trouble free. Sewage and effluent system have also presented some fairly obnoxious control and monitoring problems, all of which were overcome to the delight of not only our client, but the live stock as well. Previous to this Marsh Systems were heavily involved with the standardisation of the control system across the entire site, upgrading the systems installed in individual buildings, such as Johnson Controls SDC, to Trend and networking each building as it came online.
