With the millennium fast approaching, in 1999 Marsh Systems were invited to assess the controls within Legal & General's head office located in Tadworth, Surrey. Due to failures the installed system was found to be mostly in

manual control and energy bills were soaring. So, following a brief from the client and many meetings, a plan was therefore formulated to undertake the phased replacement of the buildings controls. Not happy with just replacing the controls, Marsh Systems undertook a thorough examination of the fundamental control philosophy and recommended some radical changes.  These changes were incorporated within the new design and implemented whilst the upgrade was being undertaken.  Marsh Systems still retain this contract through our service department, who always work in close liaison with projects to ensure a smooth transfer between the system's installation and its future maintenance.
